Laboratory of Crystallography, Magnetic Resonance and Modelling (CRM2)

  • The laboratory of Crystallography, Magnetic Resonance and Modelling, CRM2 UMR CNRS 7036, is a research lab associated to the University of Lorraine and to CNRs.
  • 30 professors, assistant professors and CNRs researchers, 13 technicians and engineers work together with doctoral students, postdoctoral trainees and invited colleagues to develop and apply crystallography, magnetic resonance and quantum chemistry in various scientific sectors ranging from mathematical crystallography to bio crystallography.
  • Studies include 2D materials, molecular materials, complex load transfers, magnetic molecular compounds, composite systems, piezoelectric and ferroelectric materials, while using the lab’s resources or major instruments.
